About Us

The Southgate Photographic Society was established in 1938 in Southgate/Winchmore Hill, North London.

We are a friendly group of amateur photographers who meet on Tuesday evenings at 8pm.

We meet to socialise and improve our skills. We run an annual programme of evening events from lectures to competitions, and from workshops to teaching sessions.

You are welcome to attend a few of our meetings to see if you would like to join. Just turn up. You don’t need a camera. We always have a tea break so you can chat to us then. Photographers of any level are welcome, provided you have a desire to improve and a determination to do so.

Please email us if you have questions at info@southgatephoto.org.uk.
